Some of Ireland’s finest including Derby champion The Other Kobe were in action at Towcester on Sunday afternoon ahead of racing. Now under the care of Graham Holland, The Other Kobe went up fast posting a 3.97 sectional on his way to posting 29.35 for the 500m trip.

He wasn’t the only star on show as Graham Holland also trialed his Derby runner-up Bockos Crystal and 2023 Leger and Kirby Memorial and recent Easter Cup winner Clonbrien Treaty. Clonbrien Treaty posted 29.26 despite having to be placed in traps twice.

He was due to trial earlier in the session only for the traps to fail to open. Bockos Crystal also highlighted her well-being, clocking a very quick 15.67 for the 270m trip.

But best of the Irish to trial was the Paul Hennessy trained Boylesports Bob. The Easter Cup finalist flew around to dip under 29 seconds as he stopped the clock in 28.99.
