DOLLAR HEADING BACK TO GRAHAM FOR PRODUCE STAKES TILT

Untold Dollar is on his way back to Irish soil after making a huge impression in a brief stint in the UK, winning the £20,000 PGR Puppy Derby at Monmore and the £5,000 Hove Puppy Cup.

The son of Newinn Taylor and Glenegat Mildred was last seen on these shores when capturing the Ballymac Kennels/ Newpark Stud/ Rural Kennels Consolation at Clonmel in early February.

Posting a rapid 28.41 on the night, he went over three lengths faster than the Rural Kennels Open Unraced winner Romeo Taylor on the same card. The pair are set to become kennel companions again with owner Callum Purdy confirming after his latest victory at Hove on Saturday night to the Racing Post that Untold Dollar is set to rejoin Graham Holland for a tilt at the Produce Stakes at Clonmel.

Said Callum to the Racing Post, “We aimed him at two puppy competitions over here and he has won them both.”

He went on, “Huge thanks to Carol and Darren [Holmes], who have done a tremendous job with him, his all-round speed is superb.

“There will be no English Derby for him though. He was schooled at Clonmel and will be heading back to Graham Holland for a crack at the Produce Stakes. Then we’ll see, but the Irish Derby is a likely long-term target.”
