On Saturday 14th May 1927, 10,000 people flocked to witness the opening night of Ireland's newest sport, Greyhound Racing.
Shelbourne Park became the first venue in the Republic of Ireland to host Greyhound Racing.

Dublin Coach, our National Travel Partners, provide a free shuttle bus service between Dublin City Centre and Shelbourne Park every Friday and Saturday night.

Shelbourne Park offers onsite parking, available on race nights at a rate of €2 per car. On busier nights parking spaces may be limited so we advise the use of public transport, where possible.

Shelbourne Park is a 5-10 minute walk from it's nearest DART station, Grand Canal Dock.
