Owned by the Cavan Vikings Syndicate, Our Mate Vincie (Oaks Road/ Billis Weasel) was a convincing winner of the €700 A5 525 final at Shelbourne’s Tuesday card.

He broke fast from trap four and was clear from the second bend where his pursuers were involved in crowding. Lapari Cross chased to the third bend but then faded and Our Mate Vincie won by six lengths from Town Tiger in 29.79.

The first final run was the A7/8 525 and it provided a runaway success for the Feelgood Racing Syndicate owned Daryanoor Coral (Skywalker Puma/ Daryanoor Beauty) as she was a mile clear from the second bend and she won by six lengths from Finnery Rock in 29.80.

The John Hand trained Killisky King (Scolari Me Daddy/ Spot) had it four wins from seven starts when running a fine race to land the Hectare A4 525. He was led to the third bend by Courtlough Meg but proved too strong from that point and won by a length and a half in 29.63.

The concluding A2 contest was slightly delayed due to a hare problem but it was quickly rectified and then the Tony and Mary Walsh owned Grosvenor Issue (Tyrur Big Mike/ Knockanree Issue) raced clear from Crinkill Mike.

She kept on strongly and led home Glory Sid by two and a half lengths in a fast 29.21.

The A3 tenth race was a messy affair and the complexion of the race changed around the bottom bends where Ravenswood Josh bumped with Alchemist King and the Willie White owned Superb Beauty shot through to win by four lengths from Alchemist King in 30.04.

The heats of an A7 525 were run and in the first of them the Feelgood Racing Syndicate owned / Daryanoor Leone (Tyrur Big Mike/ Daryanoor Jewel) got up on the run-in to beat the early leader Kansil Sky by three and a half lengths in 29.84.

The second heat  saw the Jerry Melia trained Burnt Oak Bella (Greenwell Hulk/ Burnt Oak Becky) maintain her unbeaten record as she took up the lead between the opening bends and she went on to win by three lengths from Crinkill Billy in 30.00.

Owned by the Murphy/ Murray Syndicate from Baltinglass, Our Boy Rex (Tyrur Big Mike/ Laughil Liz) made a very promising debut in the S6/7 sprint.

He quickly showed in front, moved four clear by the bend and then raced away for a six length verdict in 19.13.

Easiest winner of the night was Sheila Duncan’s Glory Alice (Scolari Me Daddy/ Kilara Alice) when destroying her rivals in the opening A8/9. She led up and then raced right away to score by all of fifteen lengths from Chasin Tail in 29.48.

The A5 fourth was won by Georgina Horan’s Curtistown Harry (Kinloch Brae/ Curtistown Lace) which came through the field to challenge on the last bend. He was hampered turning for home but battled on to take the verdict by a neck from Fwesh To Impress in 29.86.

Ryan Byrne’s Tsali Mike (Clonkeen Stan/ Jodys Revenge) gained a late victory in the A6 second contest. Here Rahulk Lad led from the opening bend but was overtaken late by Tsali Mike as he won by half a length in 29.92.
