The Kingdom Greyhound Stadium in Tralee is a very popular destination and the team in charge provide some top-class racing action and fabulous nights out throughout the calendar year.
Now, the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium is a Finalist in the Tourism Category of this Kerryman Business Awards (which take place Friday 19th Oct), where the stadium has been described by the judges as "one of the county's best entertainment centres as an attraction that provides a fun-filled evening for all. A strong business that caters for a local and international audience. Very much part of the 'staycationing' trend, while international tourists are also eager to experience the action."
The Kerryman Business Awards are county-wide awards recognising the entrepreneurialism, innovation, diversity and talent of businesses across all sectors. The awards honour Kerry’s industry leaders through the acknowledgement of innovative business processes, product development, enterprise, sustainability and overall business success.
Speaking about the awards, Sales & Operations Manager at the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium Declan Dowling said "we're thrilled to make it through to the top three for the Tourism Award at the Kerryman Business Awards. The stadium is one of the big tourist attractions here in Kerry, from the high volume of international tour groups we have visiting throughout the summer to experience greyhound racing to the all the families that make their night at the dogs in Tralee part of their holiday year after year."
