FREE Racing

The summer season of racing was officially launched at Youghal on Monday 26th June 2017. Youghal Track Supporters Club are continuing to sponsor free entry to racing this summer. Fundraiser Friday June 9th 2017

CFI Fundraiser

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland held a fundraising race night at Youghal last Friday 9th June. Although the night was wet and windy a fine crowd showed up to support this great cause. The race card featured 3 rounds of the Droopy's Stud Champion Stakes but the feature race of the night was the Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising race.

The feature race was won by the Michael Leahy and Patrick Casey owned and trained She Brae. Fundraiser Friday June 9th 2017
CFI Fundraiser Launch
Youghal Greyhound Stadium are holding a fundraising benefit night in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland on Friday 9th June. The race night was officially launched with Liam Mc Carthy and members of the local fundraising branch. Tickets for this special night of racing are available from Liam Mc Carthy on 0876243213. All support is greatly appreciated. 

Annual Awards

The annual awards night was held at Youghal last Friday 27th January. 

Dog of the Year and Owner of the Year 2016: Richard Whitley picked up the award for Owner of the Year for 2016 clocking up a total of 37 wins. His dog Whitty Tyson was awarded with Dog of the Year with a total of 17 wins. Richard is pictured with his granddaughter accepting his awards from sponsor John O'Brien.

Private Trainer of the Year 2016: Nioclas Walsh from the Seaview Kennels in Ring, Co. Waterford took the title of Private trainer of the year for 2016 with a total of 14 wins. Nioclas is pictured with his brother Liam accepting his award from sponsor John O'Brien.

Public Trainer of the Year 2016: Liam Twomey from Midleton picked up the Public Trainer of the Year award with a total of 24 wins for 2016. Liam is pictured with his father Moss accepting his award from sponsor John O'Brien.
