The Con & Annie Kirby Memorial returns to Limerick Greyhound Stadium on Saturday March 24th as 72 of Ireland's best young Greyhounds compete for a share of the bumper prizefund, including €80,000 to the winner. 

72 Limerick GAA Clubs will be assigned a Greyhound in the competition, with a €20,000 prizefund on offer to the clubs. 

Sponsored by JP & Noreen McManus in honour of Noreen's parents, the event is celebrating it's 6th year at Limerick Greyhound Stadium in 2018.

1st Round: Saturday 24th March
2nd Round: Saturday 31st March
Quarter-Finals: Saturday 7th April
Semi-Finals: Saturday 14th April
Final: Saturday 21st April

Con and Annie Kirby Memorial Trial Stakes 2018

For 6 greyhounds @ €20 each

Winner €425 & trophy plus FREE ENTRY to The Con & Annie Kirby Memorial 525 Yards Stake @ Limerick

For 72 greyhounds whelped on or after 1st January 2016 made up of:
• 53 entries @ €200 each
• 19 entries from Trial Stakes to be run at 18 Irish Stadia

If the winner of any Trial Stake is unavailable to compete in this event, the next placed available greyhound (s) will be invited to compete in this event. In the event of the unavailability of a Stadium Trial Stake Entrant, this entry will be replaced by a greyhound from the open general entries. Reserves will be eligible for the preliminary rounds. Trial stakes must be run by Monday March 19th.

Preliminary Rounds: Saturday 24th March 2nd Round Heats: Saturday 31st March
Quarter-Finals: Saturday 7th April Semi-Finals: Saturday 14th April
Final: Saturday 21st April

This year there will also be a stake for those greyhounds eliminated in the 1st / 2nd round

Getting to the Con and Annie Memorial

Limerick Greyhound Stadium is conveniently located just minutes from Limerick City at Greenpark on the Dock Road. It's just off the N18 Gawlway Road & M7 Dublin Road. 

The stadium offers a large carpark, with no charge for parking on race nights.

Dublin Coach provide a complimentary Shuttle Bus Service every Saturday night so you can enjoy free transfer from three convenient locations in Limerick City to and from Limerick Greyhound Stadium.
