7th Sept 09 - Work continues on the new Limerick site, with 50 staff working in the intial stages. More staff are expected on site in coming weeks as work progresses

7th Sept 09 - Preperations are made for the laying of the floor for the new stadium, with steel gurders for the structure due in mid September

Following their appointment as main contractors on the site, Sisk workers begin their move on to the new Limerick Stadium site.

2nd March 2009 - Minister Willie O'Dea and visitors to the site stand on what will become the track of the new stadium as they survey the work to date. If you compare the height of the poles to those in the pictures taken last month you can see the vast amount of fill that was added to the site

2nd February 2009 - Work continues on the site of the new Limerick Greyhound Stadium. The stadium will be located on the site of the old Horse Racing track, Greenpark, and is due for completion in 2010

29/09/09 - Crane lift materials as the building works gets off the ground

7th Sept 09 - The concrete has been poured for the new offices of the IGB. The concrete for the stadium is expected to be poured later this week

7th Sept 09 - The new track is marked out on elevated ground. In just 12 months the track will be ready for future champions to race on!
