
The National Greyhound Racing Awards took place on Sunday 29th March 2009 in Killashee House Hotel in Kildare. The event was kindly sponsored by Galway Crystal, who supplied the award winners trophies

Alma Carroll accepted the Special Merit Award on behalf of her late father, John Carroll. Alma has taken on her fathers passion for greyhounds and now works with the Retired Greyhound Trust
