TRIO OF UNRACED DECIDERS ON OFFER AT CLONMEL

With the Kasko National Produce Stake just around the corner, there is plenty of unraced action on offer at Clonmel and tonight will see plenty of hugely promising youngsters in action.

The opening final on the night is the ‘Home Of The Produce Stakes N2/N3 Bitch Stake’, which is worth €1,000 to the winner. Indeed the semi finals of this event took place seven days prior and it was Mustang Marydel that stole the show with a blistering 28.78 effort. Even money on that occasion, the Paul Horig and Sean Bourke-owned fawn won at her leisure by over ten lengths and it would take a brave individual to bet against this October puppy tonight. Of her dangers, Born Magic in one landed her semi assignment in 29.01 and will no doubt improve, while Kohinoor Silky can also make the frame out wide in six.

The ‘Upcoming Kasko Produce Stakes N2/N3’ final is next on the agenda in race five and this too offers a brilliant prize of €1,000 for just two outings. The standout performer from last week’s semi finals was the Owen McKenna-trained Cazador and he should take some stopping based on a dominant display last time out. Winning by over ten lengths on that occasion, the son of Malachi, owned by the-Auld-Creator-Syndicate, is perfectly drawn in two and could go very fast if trapping on terms. Of his rivals, all have plenty to find based on the clock, however, Tree Top Pat is selected to give the jolly most to think about.

The feature final on the night will be the ‘Kasko Open Unraced 525’ and Highview Bizarr is the one to beat in the €1,000 decider. Trained by Paraic Campion for the VHR-Syndicate, the daughter of Pat C Sabbath was flawless in winning by over seven lengths in 28.76 last time out and she has plenty in hand in that respect. Housed in two, it would be a surprise to see the May whelp collared based on her debut exploits. Selected to give her most to think about is the Rachel Wheeler-trained Brigadir Brindle, who caught the eye in behind last weekend, while Silverhill Ben also showed enough to suggest he is more than capable of challenging for Eugene Buckley and Graham Holland.
