DISCO PANTS BACK TO TOP FORM IN THE KINGDOM

DISCO PANTS returned to top form in the second round of the John & Mary Killeacle Memorial A1 575 stake.

Trained by Michael Daly for owners John Breen and Conor Healy, the well fancied 4-6 favourite made no mistakes with a stunning front running winning performance. Showing bundles of speed throughout, the impressive winner beat Saleen Ollie, by five and a half lengths, in 31.35.

The opening heat produced a fantastic finish as Millridge Bryce just got the better of Blackies Ranger. In a driving finish, it was the Millridge runner, a 5-2 shot, who got the verdict by the shortest of margins, in 31.46, for Donal O’Mahony.

In the second heat, Delightful Maise (6-1) displayed plenty of early speed to win for trainer Padraig Regan and the Kilmoyley Syndicate. A lovely front running winning effort, clocking 31.55 and coming home two lengths clear of Sign On Rocket.

Heat three went the way of Saleen Pearl for Patrick O’Connor. The 2-1 winner produced a flying start and she stuck to her task well in the closing stages to fend off Ballymac Whispa, by half a length, in 31.73.
