Qualification Trial Review
The Board having examined all the evidence put before it, have decided the existing qualification trial procedures (2 trials) will be continued. The €5 rebate associated with N grade races will be discontinued.
The Mini-Open Grade
The Board has decided the mini-open class will be assigned a grade of A0, and greyhounds who achieve a time better than this grade will be assigned an open grade of AA0. This grade will be trialled for a period of 6 months and further reviewed thereafter. It is expected that this new grade will be implemented in early May.
