Bord na gCon CEO Welcomes New Chairman Appointment

Adrian Neilan CEO of Bord na gCon warmly welcomed the announcement that Mr Phil Meaney has been appointed as Chairman to the organisation by Minister of Agriculture, Food & Marine Simon Coveney.
 
Mr Meaney will replace Mr Dick O’Sullivan who retired from the position in February.
Speaking today Adrian Neilan CEO of Bord na gCon said: “I am delighted that Phil Meaney, a well-recognised face in the greyhound industry and more importantly an experienced successful business professional has been appointed as the new Chairman of Bord na gCon.  His experience combined with his enthusiasm for the industry will be of enormous benefit to Bord na gCon, the body charged with guiding and promoting greyhound racing as a leading indigenous component of the Irish economy” Mr Neilan continued: “My team and I look forward to working with Phil  to ensure the long-term success of the greyhound Industry”.
